More details on the Jigen spin-off:
That title will be " Lupin the third: Daisuke Jigen's gravestone" (Lupin the IIIrd Jigen Daisuke no Bohyō ) and will be an exploration of how Jigen and Lupin became partners.
And also, the spin-off is not a TV special but an actual feature-film ! And Takeshi Koike will not only be the art supervisor but will also direct the movie !
This is the third "modern" Lupin III production to come out in theaters, after the Detective Conan second crossover and
before the new Live-Action Movie that will come out next year.
The film will have a limited special screening, exclusively in at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater.
Movie producer, Yu Kiyozono, said he was eager to do "more Lupin the third spin-off projects".
So here you have it ! Summer 2014 looks very promising for us Lupin III fans !
